《自然災(zāi)害》致力于自然災(zāi)害各方面的原始研究工作,包括災(zāi)難性事件的預(yù)測、風險管理以及自然災(zāi)害和技術(shù)災(zāi)害前兆的性質(zhì)。雖然災(zāi)害可以來自不同的來源和系統(tǒng),例如大氣、水文、海洋、火山、地震、新構(gòu)造,但環(huán)境影響同樣是災(zāi)難性的。這需要不同的科學和業(yè)務(wù)學科之間密切合作,以加強減輕危害。涵蓋范圍包括以下類別的危險:大氣、氣候、海洋、風暴潮、海嘯、洪水、雪、雪崩、滑坡、侵蝕、地震、火山、人為和技術(shù),以及風險評估。
英文簡介
Natural Hazards is devoted to original research work on all aspects of natural hazards, including the forecasting of catastrophic events, risk management, and the nature of precursors of natural and technological hazards.Although hazards can originate in different sources and systems, such as atmospheric, hydrologic, oceanographic, volcanologic, seismic, neotectonic, the environmental impacts are equally catastrophic. This warrants a close interaction between different scientific and operational disciplines, aimed at enhancing the mitigation of hazards.Coverage includes such categories of hazard as atmospheric, climatological, oceanographic, storm surges, tsunamis, floods, snow, avalanches, landslides, erosion, earthquakes, volcanoes, man-made and technological, as well as risk assessment.
